The C-7000 Spectrometer is a portable handheld spectrometer, designed especially for industrial use. Utilizing Sekonic’s CMOS linear image sensor design and large touch-screen color display, the C-7000 can measure and accurately describe LED, HMI, fluorescent, as well as natural light and electronic flash. The C-7000’s Utility software displays memorized data in several ways and outputs spectral data in 1nm/5nm (nanometer) increments in CSV format. The C-7000 is an important measuring tool for quality control in lamp manufacturing, medical facilities, educational / office safety and health standards, agricultural lighting / design and many more industrial uses.
C-7000 uses a CMOS linear image sensor in the light receiving section. In order to determine accurate color temperature, we perform spectroscopic measurements in the wavelength range of 380nm to 780nm. It is possible to accurately measure not only conventionally used flash light, constant light illumination, tungsten light, and HMI, but also light sources such as LED and fluorescent lights, which have been increasing in number at shooting sites in recent years.
The spectrometer C-7000 also makes full use of optical technology in the light receiving section. We remove infrared rays that are harmful to measurements and adjust the angle of light. In addition to using a dedicated CMOS linear image sensor, a unique optical system minimizes measurement errors caused by obliquely incident light. In addition, it has a newly developed one-touch switchable thin dark correction unit and built-in ND filter, so you can measure capless dark correction and high-intensity flash by simply rotating the light receiving dial.
In addition to text mode that displays measured values in text, there are also spectrum mode, spectrum comparison mode, color rendering evaluation mode, etc.
