IV Checker MP-11 Reliability of measurement data
It is common for solar radiation changes to change by a few percent to a few tens of percent in a few seconds.
The longer the actual sweep time, the more susceptible it is to changes in solar radiation.
The graph on the left shows the case where the sweep time is 5 seconds, but in the IV checker with a long sweep time, it can be seen that the change in solar radiation during this period has a great influence on the IV curve.
MP-11 has a short sweep time of tens to hundreds of ms, and it can be said that there is almost no effect during this period.
If the IV checker with a long sweep time produces a measurement result like the one on the right, it is difficult to determine whether this is due to a change in solar radiation or a malfunction.
However, MP-11, which has a short sweep time, is less susceptible to changes in solar radiation, so it is possible to determine that it is due to some kind of failure (or the effect of shadows).
The MP-11 is newly equipped with a reverse bias function.
The blue line in the figure on the left shows the measurement data of our IV checker with the conventional model.
You can see that MP-11 in the red line can measure data from the current axis.
The accuracy on the current axis side has been improved, enabling highly reliable measurement.
