A 3-Axis Vibration Meter with a Wide Range of Options

The Rion VM-55 is a 3-Axis vibration meter that can be used in a wide range of applications for measurement and analysis of different parameters.

The unit is equipped to measure the instantaneous value for vibration level and vibration acceleration level, as well as the time percentile level, time averaged level, maximum and minimum values in three axes simultaneously

• Simultaneous measurement of vibration level (Lv), and vibration acceleration level (Lva)
• Support for high capacity SD cards up to 32 GB (data output as CSV files, which can be handled by spreadsheet software like Excel)
• 27 hours of measurement operation with IEC R6 batteries (rechargable)
• Dust and water proofing

Optional Software/Functions

VX-55EX Extended Function Program The VX-55EX is first necessary in order to install the VX-55WR and VX-55RT. It adds an auto store function, marker function, comparator function and continuous data output function. The VX-55EX program is supplied on a 512 MB SD card. After installation, the card can be used as a 512 MB SD memory card.

VX-55WR (Waveform Recording Program) The VX-55WR enables simultaneous vibration level processing and waveform recording. Recorded data (Non-compressed WAVE files) can be analysed on a computer and can be used for example to perform frequency analysis.

VX-55RT (1/3 Octave Real-time Analysis Program) The VX-55RT enables real time 1/3 octave band analysis. Saved analysis can be reloaded later for display.

AS-60VM (Data Management Software for Environmental Measurement) The AS-60VM manages the data collected with VM-55 from a computer. It allows the use of auto stored data to perform the simultaneous display of time-level and graphs, the simultaneous display of multiple channels, graph overlay, various types of processing operations, and report creation.

AS-60MRT (1/3 Octave Vibration Level Data Management Software) The AS-60VMRT manages data collected with VM-55 from a computer. It allows the use of auto stored 1/3 octave band data to be used for graph display of 1/3 octave band analysis results, various types of processing operations, and report creation.

AS-70 (Waveform Analysis Software) The AS-70 allows the use of WAVE files recorded with the VM-55 to be used for graph display, level processing, frequency analysis (octave band analysis/FFT analysis), file output and playback.
