The PS/PSS series dynamometers are high quality analog measuring instruments. This instrument represents the standard model in the Imada mechanical dynamometer line. Robust and reliable over time, with a reading dial expressed in Kilograms, Pounds or Newtons. Precise and easy to use, it does not require maintenance.

Analog dynamometers for direct tensile and compression tests. Reliable over time thanks to the first choice construction materials: the only ones to be made with a die-cast and painted aluminum casing. They have a mechanical operation without batteries and are intrinsically safe in hostile environments. The robust construction of the PS/PSS series dynamometers makes them ideal for industrial environments and allows the measurement characteristics to be maintained unchanged over time. The ergonomic design is studied for handheld use but it is possible to mount the instrument on tripods or translators.

Models are available in various capacities and with various scales to meet different measurement needs (the scales are in Newton, Kg, lb). The PS/PSS models have a precision of ±0.1% FS and offer continuous reading of the measured values or peak storage via a side button that blocks the indicator on the maximum value reached. The circular ring of the dial allows you to adjust the zeroing of the indicator needle to compensate for the weight of any accessories, grips or to compensate for small variations in the load due to the position of use. The hand locking system allows the reading of transient phenomena or the peak load.
