Gastec Detection Tube No. 53 measures Dimethyl Sulfide with a Range of 0.15 to 10 ppm.

• Reaction Principle:
  • Pyrotec: (CH3)2S → SO2
  • Pyrotube: SO2 + I2 + 2H2O → 2Hl + H2SO4
