Acetone Detection Tube (0.05 to 2%)

Gastec® Detector Tube No 151 is used for the detection of Acetone in air of industrial areas or environmental atmospheric conditions. Tube No 151 can also be used for the detection of the following substance: Cyclohexene.

• Measuring Range of:
  • 0.05 to 0.8% - 2 pump strokes - Correction Factor: 1
  • 0.8 to 2.0% - 1 pump stroke - Correction Factor: 1
• Sampling Time: 1.5 minutes per pump stroke
• Changes from yellowish brown to greenish brown
• 3 Year Shelf Life
• Reaction Principle: CH3COCH3 + K2Cr2O7 + H2SO4 + H2O → Cr2(SO4)3
• Coefficient of Variation: 10 %（for 0.05 to 0.2 %）, 5 %（for 0.2 to 0.8 %）
• Store the tubes at a cool and dark place
• Comes in a Box of 10
