A refractometer is a device which measures the solids in an aqueous solution, most of the time sugars, salts and other fluids are tested.

This unique instrument is designed to attach directly to a pot or container and automatically and continuously test the refractive index of the fluid while displaying the converted value in “Brix”. This is a percentage measurement of sugar in water, where calculations of other substances can be determined precisely with a conversion table.

This refractometer goes where others only dream of going. With the ability to test hot liquids up to 99.9°C and with the ability to continuously test and monitor concentration changes in the container. This instrument displays the temperature of the sample as well as the brix on the large LCD screen.
