“Connect” is the key word for RION’s New Gen Sound Level Meters.More intuitive operation with touch panel, LAN terminal for more expandability, USB type-C connector for power supply/ data transfer, and newly added measurement function enhance your possibility of noise measurement. We carefully designed our new sound level meter to maintain the advantages of previous model such as easy operation, reliability, and robustness. At the same time, there are plenty of new features to the new model to support your measurement task. Fully complied with international standards IEC 61672-1:2013, ANSI/ASA S1.4.

  • Auto store function Continuous recording of Lp (instantaneous value) and Leq calculation (equivalent sound pressure level, percentile sound pressure level, maximum value, etc.) can be performed simultaneously. Each data is saved in CSV format on the SD card. Data can be managed using the environmental measurement data management software AS-60, and can also be displayed using spreadsheet software.

  It is possible to record the sound level while calculating it.
  The recorded data can be played back on a computer and also supports frequency analysis (uncompressed WAVE file). The
  waveform processing software AS-70 allows graph display, level processing, frequency analysis, file output and playback of the analysis results.

• FFT analysis program NX-43FT (scheduled for release) ^*
  

  It is possible to perform FFT analysis and measure the loudness of each frequency.
  The analysis frequency range is 20kHz, and the frequency resolution is 2.5Hz (8000 lines).
  It is possible to read out saved analysis results and display them overlaid on the graph being analyzed.
  The zoom magnification is up to 40x, and up to 20 peak lists can be displayed.

• Octave/1/3 octave real-time analysis program NX-43RT (scheduled for release) ^*
  

  It enables measurements that comply with JIS C 1513-1: 2020 "Octave band and 1/N octave band filters". It has
  the function of reading out saved analysis results, overlaying them with the graph being analyzed, and calculating and displaying the NC curve graph and NC value required for evaluating indoor noise.
  By using the environmental measurement data management software AS-60RT, it is possible to recalculate and manage data on a computer. It
  is also possible to output the voltage (AC out, DC out) of the band selected at your discretion.
