The Desco 19640 Surface Resistance Checker is a portable battery powered checker fitted with built-in parallel electrodes that allow for tests of material surface resistance. This checker is designed for quick checks of surface resistance for ESD control applications in electronics manufacturing or handling environment. The 19640 is equipped with an automatic test voltage selector. The test voltage will switch from 10V to 100V should the measured resistance exceed 1 x 105 ohms. Two banana jacks and an electrode toggle switch allow for the connection of two external 5 pound electrodes (sold separately) that measure surface resistance point to point (Rtt).

- Once Reading is Finalized, the Surface Resistance Exponent Will Remain Displayed as Long as Test Button is Depressed
- Provides exponent range of resistance measurement which is often all that is required for determining if a material is intended for an ESD Protected Area
- Portable Operation With 9 Volt Battery

- Optional Five Pound Electrodes and Leads For Resistance Measurements
