        The Meech 983v2 & 984v2 test kit gives operators & maintenance staff the ability to diagnose static related issues and monitor the performance of their ionising equipment. The model 983v2 Static Locator features a large LCD display for clear reading of static voltages. The model 984v2 is a true ion detector for both AC and pulsed DC ionisers. LED’s show the presence, or not, of ions. Decreased detection range indicates the need to clean ionisers. Please see individual data sheets for 983v2 and 984v2 for more detailed information.

• 983v2 Static Locator

The Model 983v2 Static Locator provides accurate measurement of electrostatic charges. Its design enables fast response, low drift and ease of operation.

• 984v2 Ion Sensor 

The Meech Model 984v2 Ion Sensor is an easy-to-use device for checking the performance of both AC and DC powered static eliminator bars.

Indicator lights confirm the presence of ions and, in the case of a DC power source, their polarity. Regular monitoring of installations with the model 984v2 will indicate when bars require cleaning or other maintenance work, thereby ensuring that bar performance and process efficiency can remain at the optimum level.
