Yamamoto Rockwell hardness test blocks are the highest quality test blocks available and have become the industry-leading standard for hardness reference.
These Yamamoto Rockwell test blocks based, on their materials, manufacturing method, shape, dimensions, surface roughness, and usable range conform to JIS B7730 and ISO 6508-3 standards. The nominal hardness variance for the test blocks is ± 1 HRC
Each test block is durable enough to allow approximately 260 test points per block.*
These test blocks are designed to match materials that you will measure in the field or in laboratory settings. All test blocks are supplied with a certificate of calibration.
For HRC 30 and HRC 64 these test blocks are in-stock. For all others there is a 3-4 week lead time.
To maximize the useful life of your Yamamoto Rockwell test block, Berg recommends making indentations evenly over the test surface. Sectioning the test surface into five sections as shown below is a way to ensure maximum utilization and accuracy of test block readings.
