Ammonia (NH3) Detection Tubes (2.5 to 220 ppm) Gastec Detector Tube No 3LA is used for the detection of Ammonia in air or the industrial areas and environmental atmospheric condition.

  • 2.5 to 5 ppm - 2 pump strokes Correction Factor: 2
  • 5 to 100 ppm - 1 pump stroke Correction Factor: 1
  • 100 to 220 ppm - 1/2 pump stroke Correction Factor: 2
• Sampling Time: 30 seconds per pump stroke
• Detecting limit: 0.5 ppm (2 pump strokes)
• Changes from Purple to Yellow
• Corrections for termperature & humidity: Temperature correction is necessary
• Relative Standard Deviation: 10% (for 5 to 20 ppm), 5% (for 20 to 100 ppm)

• Reaction Principle: 3NH3 + H3PO4 → (NH4)3PO4
