Extech VFM200 VOC/Formaldehyde Meter

The Extech VFM200 VOC/Formaldehyde Meter is a sturdy, handheld instrument that measures formaldehyde (CH2O) and total volatile organic compound (VOC) in air via a fuel cell sensor. Formaldehyde is measured from 0 to 5.00mg/m3 whilst the measurement range for VOC is 0 to 9.99mg/m3. Results for both substances can be given in ppm or mg/m3 to a resolution of just 0.01 and accuracy for each parameter is ±5% FS so the user can have confidence in these precise, reliable readings.

A response time of less than 2 seconds means that the Extech VFM200 can show real-time readings for both formaldehyde and VOC and these can be displayed simultaneously on the instrument’s backlit LCD screen. Adjustable high/low alarms can also be set by the user to provide immediate warnings when dangerous levels of either substance are detected.

Auto power off helps save the batteries which are rechargeable through a supplied universal adaptor with US, EU, UK and AU plugs as well as a useful soft pouch and instructions. The Extech VFM200 benefits from a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty and provides the user with consistent, precise readings to ensure safe or correct levels of formaldehyde and VOC in air.
