Acetaldehyde Detection Tube (5 to 750 ppm) Measures Acetaldehyde with a Range of 5 to 750 ppm. Other substance measurable with this detection tube is Diacetyl (See table below)- Measuring Range (Acetaldehyde): 5 to 10 ppm, 10 to 300 ppm, 300 to 750 ppm
- Number of Pump Strokes, 4 (400ml), 2 (200ml), 1 (100ml)
- Correction Factor: 0.5, 1, 2.5
- Sampling Time: 1.5 minutes per pump stroke
- Detecting Limit: 2 ppm (4 pump strokes)
- Reaction Principle:
- 3CH3CHO + (NH2OH)3H3PO4 → H3PO4 H3PO4 + Base → Phosphate
- Relative standard deviation: 10% (for 10 to 100 ppm), 5% (for 100 to 300 ppm)
- Changes from Yellow to White
- 2 Year Shelf Life
- Store the tubes in the refrigerator to keep at 10ºC (50ºF) or below.
- On-site measurements can be performed easily by anybody, anytime and anywhere, in a short time
