CEM’s DT-8809A Professional Light Meter. This Light meter is able to measure the amount of light in terms of Foot Candles (FC)  up to 40,000 or in Lux (up to 400,000). This tool is perfect for measuring the amount of light in a workspace, ensuring that the environment is meeting workplace health and safety standards.

It achieves this with the photodetector head which sends the information to the meter to be measured and displayed. This tool measures light every 1.5s per second, giving a real-time measurement of the levels of light.  For your convenience, this meter also features a backlight option, LCD display and a freeze button. Data can be stored on the meter and stored results can be transferred to a computer using included software and USB cable which are provided.  For battery use, It has a auto-turn off feature to save battery and runs off a 9V battery (also included).
